One who whopping ingredient! Blendtec blends nut butters well and they’re squarish. It blitzes everything in less than ONE freakin’ minute. At speed 4, I don’t think it has enough power to turn the almond to butter. As long as you use it, it’ll pay for itself in no time. 15 minutes!!!

You can use sprouted almond nuts but either roast them after or use a dehydrator to take the moisture out.

You didn’t mention if the blanched nuts are dehydrated. While almonds themselves are typically shelf-stable for a significant period of time, once roasted and blended, the oils in them can easily turn rancid. It’s very helpful. You will wonder why you haven’t done this sooner. Thanks! But if you had to choose just one container, choose this Vitamix 5200 wet container as it’s more versatile.
