Now that we are all spending extra time with our little ones, it’s time to get creative. this cookbook looks great. Dinner in French: My Recipes by Way of France: A Cookbook.
I know the school year has been daunting for some of us this year, but we need to remain vigilant! The recipe from this book for “Frogs and Toads in a Hole” does call for 8 slices of bread, with a hole cut out of 4 slices and made into 4 sandwiches.
Over the last few weeks, my wife and I have had more fun cooking in our kitchen making one exceptional dinner after another. Unfortunately, of the five or six I've cooked so far, they pretty much all had something off about them in the ingredient ratios or the instructions. As stated in the author’s introduction “each recipe in this book is meant to be your dinner – one fantastic dish that shines bright on the table”. Review and all opinions are my own. Just roasted in a hot oven and served.

This recipes calls for a flaky white fish and I used Cod.
I didn't put an end date to this as Dinner is a work in progress if you will, a go-to book for when you're looking for inspiration.
The recipes and photos are inspiring and interesting, but I think they could have done some more recipe testing. The instructions are clear the photos are beautiful and the food is delicious.
Ms. Clark uses certain ingredients in many of her recipes: Asian Fish Sauce,Sumac, White Miso and fresh ginger( just a few of the many new ingredients we have added and had to replenish as we explore her cookbook). As a vegetarian married to a carnivore, I am always looking for recipes that are interesting and appealing to both of us. I gave this book to my mother to see if she might enjoy it. We were gifted this book having just had a baby, it has been amazing! Instead of dining out, my wife and I have been loving our new cooking life together! The lime and herb clams had you steam the clams with a bunch of sauteed aromatics but no liquid - hello, scorched pan!
I want to make every veg recipe in this book, basically.

I had never gone to a reading of a cookbook author but was pleasantly surprised when she read her "Inttoduction" to her book. I made the cover dish last night and it was someasy and such anchange up in tastes - and healthy. And the photos are superb!
