Opened my brand new copy from the shrink and there are semi large scratches that cause popping and skipping on 2 sides, not to mention multiple other points of popping throughout. Great packaging, nice gatefold with lyrics, color variant is fantastic, barely any surface noise, the mix is punchy and lively... what's not to love?

No comparison. This definitely needs a repress of some kind. Agreed this is a good sounding pressing with the exception of a bit of excess surface noise on some of the quiet passages. Been collecting for 10 years and dont think I've had an out of the shrink purchase be this bad. You cannot go wrong with this pressing, only way these songs could be better is if you were hearing them live & in the front row.
