OK, this was pub grub, which is what Fuller’s presumably set out to offer. On the up the staff were pleasant. Would visit again for sure.More, Such a shame. We pride ourselves on our food and the only foods we buy frozen are the things we absolutely have to - we are very much a fresh food pub and our chef's work tirelessly to prepare our meals daily. Would go again. Restaurant menu $$$$ Price range per person £5-15. The service was prompt but not too pushy, and the food was good, we had a Mrs Owtons burger, Chicken breast, chorizo croquette, and Grilled halloumi Burger. I ordered a prawn cocktail starter was as bland as anything the sauce had no taste to it was really strange! Staff were attentive and service was great. Still, two of us found it tasty and different. Depsite blowing an absolute hooley outside, we ventured out to meet with family and enjoyed a great lunch.
we waited around 20mins only for my partner to go to the bar and ask for our bill , can i just say the restaurant had quietened down by this point so there is no excuse to be just left in the corner!
