When maintenance comes, instead of fixing the problem they'll be happy to tell you that you're just "closing your door wrong" (this was the response we got when our back door would swing open at the slightest breeze). !My brother and I rented from here and could not wait for our lease to end so that we could move somewhere else. Seriously. This is a good community in State College especially for the price. They sent my broken iPhone 7 back to apple manufacturers for repair, and loaned me an iPhone 6 to use in the meantime. When I went to go pick up the computer, I just wanted to alert the tech that I was never told that my data would not be transferred, and that I think it should be policy to alert customers in clear language that the hard drive would be blank. The apartments are great, and comfortable to live in.
But they did good, quick work with a minimum of hassle, so I can't complain. But, apparently being the only place in town that can repair under Applecare gives you credence to be insanely disrespectful to customers. Again she was assured, no fee would be charged. They are literally scum they screw everyone over and they charge people more money and they don't get the correct job even done. While it's not cheap, it's also in a decidedly not-cheap area.- Awesome resident community/neighbors. Close enough to get to campus on our express shuttle, but separated just enough to enjoy the privacy of off-campus living. It's A safe community and the location is very convenient! I had a problem on Saturday night with my toilet. I was actually rather excited about living there but after my experience I will never stop in again. The Pointe has 1 and 2 bedroom apartment homes with spacious oversized closets, extra storage and in-unit washer and dryer. This was one of the absolute best apartment complexes I have lived at. My daughter even called to clarify this when she noticed the small print on her receipt that said a diagnostic fee would be charged to look at computers. I know way too little about technology to know if they're ripping me off or not. Secondly, they FORGOT to order my part even after they told me what was wrong and asked for permission to do the repair, so I had to wait even longer.
If I had checked Yelp before calling Connecting Point to see if they would install RAM on my computer, I might not have tried them. Yelp users haven’t asked any questions yet about The Pointe Apartments.
