Moderate three mile hike with some rough spots and elevation gain with a few steep points. Fairly busy, there was lots of space for everyone but I passed about 6-10 other groups.
Definitely recommend shoes with good grip! I give it only three stars because, for this area, it was very, very crowded. There will be various small quarries along the way. Careful - if you do the trail backwards (which I did) there is a diverging trail that is larger and easier near the old quarry point.

Definitely recommend. This trail is new for 2020 and takes off from the Brush Lake trail. Lots of leg burn, loose rocks make sure you have good shoes. Nice short trail near the Delaware water gap. A good flowing trail network will have most trails flowing in a single direction according to their intension. I think the only reason it is "moderate" is because of the steep walk up and then a few parts where you have to watch your footing. Colors indicate trail is missing specified detail. In about .2 miles you will cross a stone arch bridge. I am not an experienced hiker at all and I had no problems. Gorgeous trail with a pleasant incline.. At about 1.4 miles there will be a large pile of stone on the left from a quarry further up the hill. Great trail for a quick hike. If I remember correctly, the markers were kind of all over the place but it wasn’t difficult to sort out. all in all beautiful short hike, especially on a sunny day as most of it is covered by trees.
Although not nearly finished, the upper reaches have some great views.

the description is very accurate except for the part right after the lookout point, where the trail down is a bit hard to find- take your time and look around- it is marked, just not as obviously- and it's all downhill from there.
