While in a bust downtown area with congested parking and rude patrons, which we encountered through out our visit the store it self was great. All Everyday Selections orders must be placed 24 hours ahead of pick up date and time. So I travel a lot and I always stop at the local Whole Foods, as I live in Austin where Whole Foods is from. This Whole Foods is a decent size and fairly well laid out. Not much different from other Whole Foods I have been to, but it was convenient because my mom does not have this type of store in her city so she was thrilled to have visited. Others were scrambling to get there aisles and displays up.Went to the breakfast bar and nothing was out. And in this area, the bulk section and vegan choices in the hot food departments blows EF out of the water. Today is no exception, there are 6 people hanging out in the pizza area and not one is willing to come to the pastry section to help. I drove way out of the way for a healthy lunch option while in Chattanooga and was glad I ended up at Whole Foods.
This is a wonderful grocery store and most of the employees are amazing except for a couple. love Love LOVE Whole Foods!! Employees are generally very nice and helpful if you have questions. Is this a place where you buy ingredients to cook your own food? I wish they would change the dishes more often or not put so much out at a time so they would not dry out (if they would follow this they would rate a 5). And I got to shop when O finished eating!
Great dill tuna fish from the deli counter. The only exception is in the nutrition section.The music is always way too loud, which makes it virtually impossible to have normal conversations in the dining area. We'll make she to pass this along. more. I feel like I find something new I want to try every time I visit. This is not the fault of the staff here, but likely due to the limited purchasing power of locals. With not many options for flower shopping near downtown/NShore, I have my go to spot.
Only issue is that if you visit...after lunch hour, they tend to leave dishes in the serving area so the heat dries they out and they become overcooked (chicken is the worst). If you are looking for an item, you are walked to the area of the store by a smiling staff member, not just told what aisle to look on One of my absolute favorite places in Chattanooga! I like Whole Foods to pick up already made food items that go with my low-carb diet. Overpriced. This location is very nice and convenient to restaurants and shopping nearby. Whole Foods also still has that upstairs area that can be fun to hangout with friends if they're doing their weekly music and dinner deal night.
