He should have won awards to reflect his versatility in acting.

David's admirers continue to leave loving messages for his family. He was a much beloved man who has entertained millions. Yeah, it was only a TV show...but it was the key to my survival and ability to flourish. I promised myself that I would leave any job that made me feel like that character felt...onstage, constantly performing, and not satisfying anyone...and 25 years into a law career, I hit that point and bailed out in time to save my life and soul.
