For a drink (non-alcoholic), sandwich and treacle pudding it was about 11 or 12 pound. There's a good selection of ales, including a seasonal rotation of local offerings, and the bar staff are kind enough to give tastes when you're unsure of what you're after.

The pub has a mixture of timber panelling old style décor, with trendy contemporary wallpaper. Very disappointed and shocked when I saw the waitress cleaning three tables and dinner mats with the same cloth and also no spray!! They didn't want to put any of their staff in the line of fire of the crowd! The Beerhive has over 200 delicious beers from around the world.

Unbeatable. I would almost compare it to a mosh pit! Not really dog friendly more we will make a gesture towards dog owners... Not really one room only with three tables and it's the room showing football so full of guys stood watching a game with tv over one of the tables. Social distancing is sensibly...enforced, they have a good selection of well kept ales and the staff are very pleasant. So this last visit should have been all the more memorable gfor that. Our friends had a bacon burger that was enormous, and a gigantic fish sandwich that was crisp and juicy and satisfying!
You order at the bar, just remember your table # on the napkins. Love it. We joked that it was a porta-potty pub as it did smell sewage-ish. It's pretty weird that I've either never been in this pub or I have and I can't remember due to being under the influence of being very merry. The Beehive Inn is located on the Grassmarket.

The lamb pie was full of fatty pieces of meat that I had to really work to chew. There are big tables for bigger parties and booths tucked away in the back for couples to cuddle up in. The food arrived in good time and was nice and tasty.

This is a really nice, attractive pub in the quiet village of Combs, about 10 miles North of Buxton.
With the profits from that it's interior could you'd think be tidied up, the gents modernised (including replacement of the cracked toilet bowl) and the kitchen extractor system improved so as not to engulf the left hand side of the beer garden in fumes every time it's in use. The common area was decent, though the waitress only cleans up so you have to order at the bar. Absolutely the Very Best sandwich, Ever. There's also a healthy festival pedigree - a small room even further upstairs finds itself converted into a snug and cosy performance space for comedy acts of the surreal and experimental end of the spectrum (in my experience).Well done Beehive: you're there when we need you.
