One of the pleasures of attending a concert is the freedom to lose oneself in listening to the music. The Concert (or The Perils of Everybody) is a ballet made by Jerome Robbins, subsequently New York City Ballet's ballet master, to Chopin's: Polonaise in A major "Military", Op. Anyone who has seen even an excerpt of Jerome Robbins' THE CONCERT (OR, THE PERILS OF EVERYBODY) can attest to the hilarity of this charming ballet. I also love the New Yorker cartoonesque nature of The Concert as well.
